Our Special Loved Ones
Whom Shared Our Hearts
Pandy-Pande
August, 2002 to August, 2004
Memorial Tribute to Pande,
aka Pandemonium; aka Pandora
Pande gave everyone unconditional love from August 16, 2002 to August 20, 2004.
This was a sweetheart of a bunn. He was most curious about everything, loved climbing (to my horror); took care of his best bunn, Merlyn; and he enjoyed sitting in the narrow space between windows and their screens.
This very special bunn was with me for only a very short while. He traveled with his adopted brother, Merlyn to Arizona; and had lived in both Long Beach and El Segundo. He loved to do his bunny dance (running fast and turning mid-air), and had also discovered that the strange wall in the backyard in Long Beach was not a 4-foot wall but a pool (and yes, bunnies do swim... they bunny-paddle). There were times when I could not find him, but felt I was "being watched". Once I came in from outside to do some calculations at my desk, I looked up from the calculator and here was this bunn sitting on the top shelf of a bookshelf (by my best estimations, he must have jumped from the table to the television, to the top of the television [4-1/2 feet up off the floor] across to the top of the bookshelf at 4 feet). Unfortunately, nothing slowed this little guy down, nor would he be intimidated. After moving the Summer of 2004, he dug out of his area one day (he hadn't dug for over a year and a half, so thought he had outgrown digging), and unfortunate for him there was a standard poodle on the other side. I can only hope it was quick and not too painful. I am thankful that his brother, Merlyn stayed behind where he belonged. I am not too sure how much the bunns understand, but I do miss Pande bunches, and I am sure his adopted brother, Merlyn does also.
Rest peacefully sweetie
